Principal and Vice Principals Leadership Styles Research Paper
Principal and Vice Principals Leadership Styles - Research Paper Example Educational management can be described through the management and leadership theories. Bush (2003) identified various models that describe the two main theories. The management theory can be classified into six models that include; formal, collegial, political, subjective, uncertainty, and cultural models. The six models that describe leadership theories in education management include; the moral model, contingency leadership, transactional and managerial leadership, the post-modern as well as participative leadership styles. The formal models describe a hierarchical arrangement in the management structure. In this model, the school heads treat the institution as a system where bureaucracy is maintained (Bush, 2002). There is a system of instruction which is usually top-down while reporting must follow the various ranks to the top. This model is evident in Matador High School. The principal is the overall head and the vice principal reports to him. The vice principal acts as a middl e-level manager in contemporary organizations, supervising the teaching staff, but he too has some lessons that he teaches. All teachers are accountable to the principle and have performance targets that are set for the accomplishment of the overall goal of the school. The formal management structure is matched with the managerial leadership of the principal. This is a leadership style where managers are focused on their purpose in helping the organization to accomplish their objectives. They ensure that all processes are accomplished according to plan and that every person is in the designated place at the right time (Cheng, 2002). Leadership in Matador was top down with the teachers being expected to behave and accomplish tasks according to the laid out procedures in the school.Ã Ã

This increase in the numbers of the mobile users can only offer promoters hope that the market will soon become phenomenal. In the act of promoting mobile phones, it is essential to understand that most people typically are attached to them. For this reason, the more features a mobile phone offers the better and the more its promotion will result to the companyââ¬â¢s prospected success. Most companies seem to have conducted enough research on characterized customer satisfaction, customer research, and products use, but seem to have forgotten to question directly from the customer of their expectations. The promoters need to realize that their aim is to satisfy the needs of their customers as they make extremely large amounts of money. In my opinion, the customersââ¬â¢ demands have not yet been reached despite having new models of phones in the market (Saulimen, 2011). This is because most people

The basic theme for this comedy and all others in the time was social criticism. First, the comedy was presented in folkloric depictions that were targeting the local audience. Secondly, Mario Moreno, more popularly known as Cantinflas used a style that was well-known to the people to attract the audience he wanted to present his points. This made him popular among the Mexicans who took charge of his messages and acted on them. This paper is aimed at supporting the thesis that comedy as applied in the Cantinflas films and other Golden Age comedies in Mexico is a tool for social criticism (Shaw, p.68). Mario Moreno is a Mexican comedian is global known as the Cantinflas after his hilarious character he has portrayed in different films. He is represented in many of his films as a poor Mexican, who is overburdened by hard labor and poverty. In Ahà està ¡ el detalle (Thereââ¬â¢s the Detail) (1940) he wears drooping pants that are held in position by a rope. His shoulders are free indicating that he is in a job to carry loads. This film, as interpreted by many analysts has the theme of poverty and oppression of the poor in Mexico (Hershfield, p.194). Cantinflas brings out this theme through the expression of poverty that he appears to be living in. The film criticises the social and political systems of the time that promoted the oppression of the poor in farms and their failure to help them rise from poverty. The folkloric depiction of most of the films during this time including those of Cantinflas and others like Allà ¡ en el Rancho Grande, despite providing the people with a social identity also gave them an extra thought. Most of the styles used were meant to keep away the foreigners from understanding the deeper meaning of the characterisation and the themes.
